We collect and use personal data of our users only to the extent necessary for providing a functional website as well as our content and services.
Our website is hosted by Hostinger. When you visit our website, the server automatically collects information in so-called server log files (IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, browser type). This data cannot be attributed to specific individuals and is not merged with other data sources.
If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the form, including the contact data you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not share this data without your consent.
This site uses web fonts for consistent typography that are served exclusively from our own server. No connection to Google servers or any other third party is established, and your IP address is not transmitted to third parties.
On some pages we embed videos from YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). We use a two-click solution: when the page loads, only a preview image served from our own server is shown. No connection to YouTube or Google takes place.
Only when you actively click the preview image is the video loaded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Your IP address is then transmitted to Google and usage data may be processed. The legal basis is your consent given by that click pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG.
To measure the reach of this site we operate our own, self-hosted method. It records only: the page requested, the referral source, the device category (mobile/desktop) and the time spent on the page.
No cookies are set and no IP addresses are stored, and no user profiles are created. No personal identification is possible and no data is passed to third parties. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a statistical evaluation of site usage pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
For clients, team members and sales partners we operate password-protected areas (client portal, team area, sales portal). They can be reached via “Sign in” in the top right corner of this website and are operated by us on the servers of our hosting provider.
Data processed: email address or name as user ID, the password only as an encrypted hash, time and number of logins, and the project data we provide to you as part of our cooperation (for example tasks, documents, invoices and reports on your website or campaigns).
Cookie: Signing in sets a technically necessary session cookie. It only contains a random session ID and expires when you sign out or after one hour of inactivity at the latest. No consent is required for this (Section 25 (2) No. 2 TDDDG).
Protection against attacks: For failed login attempts we store the IP address for no longer than 15 minutes to prevent repeated password guessing.
Legal basis and retention: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (performance of the contract) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (security of our systems). We store the data for the duration of our cooperation and delete it afterwards unless statutory retention obligations apply.
You have the right to access, rectification, deletion and restriction of the processing of your personal data. Furthermore, you have the right to object to processing as well as the right to data portability. Please contact us at kontakt@corescale.de.
